Sanex Zero % review

Sanex Zero % is the latest range of bath and shower products from Sanex, which promise to minimise chemical ingredients and maximise skin benefits. The name refers to the fact that it contains 0% parabens, 0% colourants, 0% phtalates and 0% phenoxyethanol. It's not just kind to skin though, it's also gentle on the planet. Its biodegradable formula is proven to have minimal impact on aquatic ecosystems and has been awarded the European Eco Flower.

If you have sensitive skin or are prone to allergies or eczema, it is a lovely, neutral, dermatologically tested range that you can use safe in the knowledge that it will help look after your skin and cause no irritation. To coincide with the launch, Sanex held a ‘living sculptures’ performance on London’s South Bank to encourage people to think twice about using unnecessary chemicals on their bodies every day. The video can be viewed here or on youtube at http://youtu.be/XV2d6gGwE-k

As someone with healthy skin that doesn't particularly need gentle products, I have to say I did find the packaging and the products a little bland and I would have preferred an exotic fragrance or a brightly coloured bottle, but I do understand that the idea is to represent the pure contents within and the whole "less is more" concept that it is better for the environment certainly strikes a chord.

If your skin is drying out or becoming sensitive and chapped in the colder weather, they are a lovely gentle range of products to use in the bath or shower to nurture your skin back to health, while taking care of the planet.
