Kids' DVD review : Everything's Rosie - Bubble Trouble

Just in time for the Easter holidays, we received a review copy of the new Everything's Rosie DVD that was released earlier this month. The DVD, called Bubble Trouble & Other Stories, features thirteen episodes from Series 2 of the show.

If you're unfamiliar with the series, it centres on Rosie, a little girl with a taste for adventure, and a cast of equally lovable characters such as Will, Holly, Big Bear, Oakley the ancient oak tree and Raggles the rabbit. Rosie and her friends are positive, bright and inspiring role models, offering fun, laughter, discovery and timeless life lessons to pre-schoolers.

The episodes on the new DVD are : How to Give Away your Toys and Keep Them, Never Play Tennis With An Egg, Let's All Go to the Fluffy Bug Ball, Big Bear's Little Café, Bubble Trouble, Holly to the Rescue, Follow that Cloud, The Flying Featherettes, Big Bear in a Spin, The Time Travelling Tree, Raggles' Stupendous Breakfast Treat, The Art of Rubbish and Pirate Treasure.

I always love the happy vibe and gentle life-lessons provided by the show. It's quite calming so is perfect for a "TV sleep" (which is what the Madhouse Mini-testers move on to when they've outgrown naptime but still need some quiet time in the afternoon because they're tired !). The kids love the bright colours and the fun characters. The chirpy theme tune always has us singing along too !

I did a double-take when I saw the run-time - it lasts for a whopping 2 hours 24 minutes ! - which makes it great value, especially as it retails for just £6.99, which is much cheaper than many kids' DVDs.

If you have a little Everything's Rosie fan in your midst, make sure you enter my giveaway which I will be posting in just a moment to give you the chance to win your very own copy of the new DVD.
