What's cooking at The Madhouse next week? menu plan 2/1/14

We're back home, with cupboards overflowing with all the goodies from our Christmas hampers, but also full of healthy-eating New Year's resolutions, which will give me a bit of a dilemma for this week's menu plan ! I usually do my menu planning on a Friday but it's a day early this week because I didn't menu plan last week while we were away visiting the family so I need to finish off the week.

Thursday
lunch - beefburgers with steamed potatoes (with a Garden Herb Season & Steam sachet)  &stir-fried kale

dinner - Homemade soup with kale, bacon and beans with homemade flowerpot bread (recipes to follow)

Friday
lunch - Channa Daal with spicy chicken thighs

dinner - leftover chicken in Applewood smoked cheddar sauce with pasta (and maybe some peas and mushrooms thrown in for good measure)

Saturday
lunch - either a trip to McDonalds or prawn saganaki with rice

dinner - soup and toast for the grown-ups, cheese toasties for the kids

Sunday
lunch - traditional roast dinner or maybe raclette for a change

dinner - leftover soup or porridge if anyone's hungry

Monday

dinner - Rajas Tacos

Tuesday
dinner - a Korean feast from my Kitchen Nomad box : sweet potato noodles with skewered beef and sauteed aubergine

Wednesday
lunch - root veg mash with fish cakes

dinner - something in the slow cooker : sausage and bean casserole or chicken chasseur maybe
Thursday
dinner - Pork paupiettes with rice, peas and roast parsnips

Friday
dinner - some Ainsley Harriott soup that we were sent to review
